What is Deyan?

Deyan usually refers to a type of small human-like creatures with the proportions of a ten-year-old child, extremely long hair and a highly developed taste for Heavy Metal music. The creatures are known to inhabit the Bugarian capital city of Sofia, and in the occasion of pilgrimages, the Rock-capital Kavarna.
The first and most notable Deyan is speculated to have been born in the early 90's although the species' apparent lack of growth hormones makes it hard to determine their exact age.
How the Deyan have bonded with the rhythmic and powerful heavy metal music remains a mystery.
All recordings of Deyan have been described as male, with certain feminine features, which implies that the species have developed hermaphrodite ways of survival.
