acronym for "Damn Fucking Hippies of America". It came from the term 'damn fucking hippies' used by conservatives or right-wing people to insult liberals or left-wing ideas, but instead liberals took the term in stride and now use it as a joke to refer to themselves. Also used by Cartman on Southpark.
