What is Dieraq?

A word used to describe the war in Iraq . GI's use this word as to make light of the grave situation . People are attributing this to a blonde model , but I heard this over there in 1991.

looking toward a a camera and saying " welcome to Dieraq" . Or , in frustration " f'in Dieraq"!
