What is Do Svidaniya?

Do svidaniya does not mean "good-bye forever", it simply means "good-bye". A more literal translation would be "Until we meet (again)", quite the opposite of the two previous definitions.
A more final departure might be Proshchai.
"Ey, do svidaniya muzhik."

"Hey, I'll see you later man."
"Alright, bye."
