An annoying male/female on the other end of the telephone or an operator that just plain won't listen.
Operator: "Is an adult present in the house?"
Me: "No.... their all gone...just me here"
Operator: "Can I please speak with the adult there?"
Me: "There's no adults here!"
Operator: "Miss, I have another call please stay on hold this is a very important survey for the adult in the house"
