A doublegoodbye is when you have to say goodbye to someone once, then for some reason, go back (to pick up something or say something) and say goodbye again. This was used by Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
"I'm not gonna go do a doublegoodbye! I already said bye once!"
