Pants worn in anticipation of staying at home and consuming alcohol. Are usually sweatpantsor similar to sweatpants, and are worn for maximum comfort. Would never be worn in public.

Oh lord, Jim's got his drinking britches on. He had an awful day at work and just wants to stay at home and get drunk.
