What is Dromio?

The twin slaves in Shakespeare's "A Comedy of Errors". Both of them are named Dromio and are commenly mistaken by their masters or mistresses.
"I feel bad for poor Dromio."
"Which one?"
"Both. They're both beaten all the time."
