What is Druid?
1.
Revived in the eighteenth centuary, the druid tradition stems back to the time of the celts where the druids took on the role of prophets, teachers and they also led rituals. In the late 1980s psychologist Phillip Gomm-Carr became the head of the British Druid order.
Druidry is a polytheistic earth based religion that follows the mythology of the celts. Contemporary druidry has an eight-fold year that includes four fire festivals. It's a religion based on peace and reverence of nature and the ancestors.

2.
A hybrid class in World of Warcraft.
- They have comparable healing to that of a priest
- Can ressurect in battle
- Can spec into a feral druid, turning into a fairly decent tank
- Moonkin form provides a fair utility in parties of casters
Though somewhat whiners in the WoW forums, druids have persevered with a somewhat awkward itemization issue, and look forward to the expansion to become considered more fully.

The Druid is a class of magic-wielder that is similar to the nechanter, but relies upon spiritual magic. The Druid is at peace with nature, and often is considered a protecter of the ecosystem. He is gifted with blessing weapons, controlling animals, and using nature as a weapon. Druids are reknowned for their ability to call upon fierce wolf packs to their aid, and controlling natural phenonmena, such as hurricanes and monsoons, and using them as a weapon. The Druid is very calm, and almost as wise as the Wizard, but they have been known to go into uncontrolled fits of rage when the environment is in danger.
The Druid Ashnir is said to have adopted a bear cub as his son.
