What is Duditude?

The unfounded belief, mostly held by men or dudes, that everything will all work out just fine despite the very real possibility that it won't.

My boyfriend was exhibiting overt duditude when he said he doesn't need to wear a motorcycle helmet because he's "not going to get into an accident."
