What is Dyke Date?

A group of girls that gets together for "girl time," ie shopping, lunch or dinner, or just general hanging out.
Often used by fathers who are shamed by the fact that their daughter might be a lesbian, or simply as a derogatory remark meant to encourage their daughter to date guys.
Emily (to her dad): I'm going out with a few of my friends to get lunch!
Dad: Who are the friends?
Emily: Michelle, Amy, and Sarah, of course.
Dad (to himself): Great, she's going out on a dyke date.
