"What does that mean?" Normally used when a picture is posted and the writing on the picture is illegible
The first use was on Craigslist in 2005 when a poster displayed and image from a Thrones record in which the word "Thrones" due to intense caligraphy looked like the word "earoneg." The example can be seen here: forums.craigslist/?ID=35080826
