What is E-folio?

An electronic version of a persons work samples portfolio; Allows easy presentation of work samples to prospective employers/clients. Generated as a PDF (or other suitable format) file easily transferred via email for on screen viewing.
BACKGROUND
I applied for a job out of province that wanted to see my portfolio. I used the Adobe Creative Suite to build a document featuring writing, photography, and design samples that was at a resolution suitable for on-screen viewing and thus small enough to email. I dubbed the end PDF product my 'e-folio', as was written on the title page.
Employer: Can you provide us some writing samples?
You: Of course, I'll send you my e-folio.
