Ehermit

What is Ehermit?

1.

A person who only interacts with people through the computer, never leaving their house or apartment. They are online almost 24 hours a day and you go to them when you seek knowlege and truth about any computer related subject.

This term was coined by the Rhett and LinKast Live for their assistant.

You really need to unplug! You're turning into some kind of eHermit.

2.

Someone who only communicates with the outside world via online tools like IRC, IM, Skype, email and forums.

Unlike a traditional hermit, an eHermit may have many "friends" but an eHermit will have met very few, if any of them, in real life (IRL).

The online comedy duo Rhett and Link claim credit for having coined the term during their podcast in early 2008.

Dude, you need to unplug! You're turning into some kind of eHermit!
