Often recorded in Scandinavian forests, and upstate New York with the aid of elf metalheads who play the violin a little too well. Afionados of elf-metal can be identified by their dragonfroce t-shirts, loneliness and pointy ears. It is perhaps the coolest subgenre of metal ever created.
