Emosis is the stage in developing an emo personality when your personality is actively changing, and not sitting idly at one level. Sometimes one can stay in Emosis for a while, or is only in that stage for a short period of time.

Emosis can also be used to describe an emo personality that is changing its interests in music, clothing and the like.

Mom: Hmm... Ali seems to be getting depressed lately.

Dad: Maybe she is going through Emosis.
