Emosode Edit Meaning

An emosode is an emotional breakdown ("emo" + "episode"). In other words, the time period when someone is overwhelmed by depressed feelings; the person having the emosode normally injures him/herself to find relief. An emosode normally lasts no more than a night.

Girl #1 Where did you go last night? I walked upstairs, came back down, and you were gone.

Girl #2 Oh, I was having an emosode. My feelings finally caught up with me, I guess.

Girl #1 Uh, oh. Well show me your arm. * :-O * You poor thing, tell me next time, so I can give you a hug.
