What is Eunuch-rock?

A catch-all term for all the ball-less, sterile, wuss-rock (coldplay, snow patrol, james blunt, keane - ad nauseum).
Bands that verge on autism, having a degree of "talent" (ability to play), yet an inability to convey emotion, other than a vague stab at it (emotion)...
A prime example being "yellow" by coldplay!!! What does this mean, a near dissatisfaction??? Or perhaps an even better example "have a nice day" by stereophonics - a "nice" day? not a great day? just a nice one. "Eunuch-rock" - the kind of glib, nonsense you'll see selling cars, mobile phones or insurance on tv.
