n. Comes from "extraneous" and "definition". Refers to an entry on an editable website (such as Urban Dictionary) where the actual meanining of the word in question has been buried under the thousands of entries that reflect the opinion of the poster, and the argument against that poster, etc.

vb. To add a definition to an editable dictionary that does not add anything new but merely refutes or defends a previously posted entry.
