When someone is daydreaming so intensely that parts of the dream leak into their current situation in the real world, usually in the form of hand movements or speech.
Girl #1: I wish I could meet Mr. Darcy.
Girl #2: Me too! I love him! And Colin Firth. He's yummy.
Girl #1: I'd give anything to be Elizabeth
Girl #3: No... Come back...! *reaches out*
Girl #1: Uh... What?
