What is F/a-22?

The F/A-22 Raptor is a a Fighter Bomber designed by Lockheed-Martin and built by Lockheed, Boeing and Pratt and Whitney. The F/A-22 is a stealth fighter with Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground capabilities. It has supercruise, internal bomb and missile bays vectored thrust. In addition, the F/A-22 uses a new radar and avionics package that allows it to share targets with other Raptors in the flight.

John P. Jumper, USAF Chief of Staff is the only person to have flown both the Eurofighter and the F/A-22
