The act of posting a mushy, saccharine message to your significant other on Facebook, where everyone is forced to read it; a form of electronic PDA. See: the "Shmoopy" episode of Seinfeld.
"Did you see Johnny's birthday post to his girlfriend?"
"Yeah, that boy was seriously Faceshmooping. He must have come home without a gift or something."
