The act of not immediately confirming Facebook friend requests, thereby portraying oneself as having more important things to do than online social networking. Not unlike the three day rulefor calling a potential mate after acquiring his/her telephone number.

Guy 1: "Dude, who's that hottie sitting in your pending request file? You should accept that ASAP."

Guy 2: "No doubt she's bangin', but I want her to sweat a little. I'll facewait it for another day or two."
