Fag Bag Edit Meaning

A derogatory term used by men to describe a carry-all bag held by another man. It seems as though a man's sense of manliness is enhanced only by accusing other men of being sissies. Gunslingers wore purses, no one is accusing them of being siisyboys.

"Hey, you, sissyboy! Nice fag bag you got there!"

"BLAM!!!! One less small-minded jerk in the world!"

Slang word used to described what is also a called a "fanny pack". It's a small, purse-like container that zippers shut and is worn around one's waist. They came into popularity first with runners and other exercise enthusiasts, but when they crossed into main stream, there was a backlash because men starting using them much like a woman would use a purse - as a convenient place to carry things around in. Because men in traditional society have never been able to carry any such thing (except the cumbersome and often unneccisarily large briefcase), wearing a fanny-pack became viewed as effeminate behavior. So "real" men refused to start using them (although they are very practical) and need to keep up their masculine image. Therefore, the best they could do was to equate their use with being homosexual, although most of the men who actually wore them were just "unfashionalbe" married men.

Is that guy actually wearing a fag bag? Do they still make those?

Also known as a 'fanny pack'.

A fag bag is a zippered pouch that is worn strapped around a person's waist and is used for carrying small personal items. It came to be called a fag bag because the uglier, fatter and nerdier members of the gay community, hoping to be picked up for sex, would strap them on and wear them to gay pride parades and other big events as an 'overnight bag', a method of carrying around a toothbrush, hair products, condoms and poppersfor eventual use. The problem was that no self-respecting fag would ever have sex with someone who'd wear an ugly, shapeless sack over his ass, so the item eventually fell out of favour. It is now worn only by aging rocker chicks to Rolling Stones concerts as a hands-free method of carrying weed, rolling papers and sanitary napkins.

Not to be confused with the 'man purse', or 'murse' a usually plain-leather, larger version of a woman's purse intended to be carried by a strap over the shoulder of a man.

Military acronym for Field Artillery, Garrison. Used when ordering a map case. The case is for maps pencils and other supplies needed for mapping. The case has a shoulder strap and a flap cover that resembles a females purse.

The Sargent got in trouble for carrying a fag bag without a map inside the bag.

A man purse. Generally used to carry around books, granola, workout gear, or anything that needs to be carried. Sometimes they are decorated with pins or patches. A Fag Bag can be a small backpack, a slingbag, or a tote.

"Ew! look at that hideous Fag Bag that Chris is sporting!"

A phrase used to describe someone gay or to make fun of someone gay. Or you can use it to generally make fun of one person, or even groups of people when adding an "S" at the end. Not only that, it's a euphamism but it rhymes with itself just to make it sound jazzy. It is MEANT to be left to your imagination as to why the word "bag" is included in the phrase.

1.) "Man, that guy is a real fag bag. He wouldn't let me in the club even though I turn 21 tomorrow."

2.) "Those people in the mosh pit look like a bunch of fag bags just standing there with the long faces. Do they not realize they are in a rock concert?"
