What is Failentine's Day?

A holiday occurring on February 14th every year during which you realize you are, in fact, miserably single. For most people, they also realize that this hasn't changed since the last Failentine's Day (or Failentine's past). In addition to the self-pity that occurs, there is the constant reminder that other people are together and in love (usually in the form of red paper hearts and cupids decorating the walls of all buildings, all of your favorite stores having Failentine's Day sales, roses appearing in February and giddy couples walking down the street and holding hands/kissing).
Emily woke up to a text from her best friend, Andrew. It read HAPPY FAILENTINE'S DAY. Emily was then thrown into a depression about how alone she was.
