this is the term commonly used for the guy who is willing to "take one for the team" and hook up with the fat ugly friend that is usually blocking a much hotter and skinnier woman.
fat blockers are usually very non-discriminate and have a lower than average tolerance for alcohol, thus making the fatter ladies appear more attractive.
