A stereotypical geek; i.e. one who looks like the Comic Book Guy from "The Simpsons."

Rarely seen in public, they only come out of their parent's basements to attend conventions of their favorite interests, such as Star Trek, Inuyasha, or furry porn. Fatbeards have the personality of a wood plank.

A Fatbeard is a fat male, with a beard, who has a collection of comic book's, know's way to much obscure Star Trek trivia, and probably play's M:TG and various pen-and-paper role-playing-games.
"Hey, check out the owner of the store, man. Total Fatbeard."

An obese caucasian male who knows WAY too much about star wars , D&D and the like. The ugly cousin of cat piss man.
The comic shop in my area has too many fatbeards.
