In Buddhism it would be called the “ABHAYA MUDRA”, Siddhartha Gautama expressed this sitting under a Bodhi Tree while a stampede of wild elephants were going to pounce on him, they immediately stopped after seeing the Buddha expressing “Fearlessness”.
