noun. (fee-font) : the hybrid of a fish and elephant. it lives underwater and produces the same sound as an elephant, except underwater (imagine elephant's "trumpet" "bubblized".) it has the legs, ears, trunk and half a tail of an elephant. and the body, eyes, fins, and end of the tail is all fish.
person 1: OMG! Is that a fiphant in the pond?!
person 2: no. that's just a fish that looks like an elephant. not entirely a fiphant.
