Fishtalk Edit Meaning

Fishtalk is a term frequently used by the participants of pokergames. When after a hand is played a player who didn't play the hand till the end says 'he would have had something way better than the winning hand if he had actually played it' we call this announcement 'fishtalk'.

In a No Limit Texas Hold'Em cashgame, Ambassador Dan holds King Seven of spades. The board shows a six, eight, nine, ten of spades and another unimportant card. This would give Ambassador Dan a straight flush, however he folded his hand preflop. Afterwards he announces to the table that he would have had a straight flush if he had played his King Seven of spades. Someone then tells him to stop the fishtalk.
