Someone who skillfully and willfully escapes pre-existing plans with friends or associates (see flake). Able to wriggle out of plans no matter how soon the event approaches with a perfectly sound excuse. Also characterized by the tendency of a person to ignore phone calls or text messages close to the time of said plans.

"Krystal and i were supposed to go bowling last night, but she didn't return any of my calls or texts. What a flake artist!"

"Stephanie said she would hang with us tonight. You think she is still coming?" "Hell no, she has pulled a flake artist on us!"
