To flap one's arms in an unsuccessful attempt to prevent objects from falling.

When someone is driving in their car with a bunch of friends, and everyone opens and closes their doors, again and again, to make it seem like your car is going because of the doors being flapped. The driver usually participates aswell. Similar to ghost riding, except you don't get out. Originated in Southern Ontario, Canada.
