Rotory wing aircraft; Helicopter. Normally used in conjuction with the term "Phlyer", or "Driver", meaning "pilot". May originate with a cartoon drawn by Capt. Ed Cooke and which accompanies a popular article by Harry Reasoner, "Helicopter Pilots Are Different."
