In sales, a floor-whore is a salesperson who only works the floor or sales lot. Doesn't ask for referrals or make prospecting calls.

A salesperson on a car lot or real estate office that only takes incoming calls or walk-ins but never makes an effort to create their own business, is whoring the floor, thus a floor-whore.

Bill has been here for over a month now and hasn't brought in a single customer or prospect from his own effort... All the other sales reps are getting referrals and working their personal leads in addition to the company provided leads and walk-ins. The sales reps are starting to call Bill a floor-whore.
