A military boarding academy for males (and somewhat recently females) within the grades of 7th through 12th. No longer military funded, it still sports a JROTC unit and a huge sports scouting fund to continue a legacy of "state wins" in contrast to their average grades. Sports players and student staff always get special treatment, not because their "gift" for sports or friendly social networking, but because most of them understood that being sent to Florida Air Academy was a bad thing and that they needed to try harder.
