What is Flr?

Something to say when you reach a lull in an online conversation. This should be used instead of lol or some other filler word. One will notice that flr is short for filler. Flr can also stand for failure. Flr can indicate that the listener is bored or just doesn't have anything to say.

It is clear here that person 2 doesn't care and wants person 1 to shut up. In order not to hurt person 1's feelings person 2 uses flr. In this case FLR is the equivalent of nodding while not listening to someone.
