Phrase origininating in Cleveland, Tn in 2008, as an insult towards Brey. The original connotation of the phrase ended with the declaration of Brey's status as a bitch. Phrase has since grown to an expression of excitement, disappointment, joy, anger, general fonkitude, or any other emotion. The phrase has also spread to the websites myspace and facebook in the forms of groups that are able to be joined by anyone who is interested. In addition, a guild on the MMORPG World Of Warcraft has adopted the name of "Fonk Brey", a man in Australia has made a shirt of the phrase, and a group of people who may or may not know Brey personally have formed the Fonk Brey Crew (FBC for short). The phrase has become a universal utterance to be used in any situation, including but not limited to replacing lyrics from any song with "Fonk Brey".
