Fake Virginia, as opposed to the real virginia or real america. synonymous with NOVA, but with a more condescending connotation. FOVA has Virginias best schools, most educated population, is almost entirely liberal and pays for the large majority of the the Virginia state budget. An elitist area with organic markets, condos, parks and a starbucks every where you look. A wonderful place to live.
