Frenemie (derived from the teen movie 'Mean Girls') is a contraction of 'friend' and 'enemy'. The term frenemie is a widely used word which simply means an enemy of yours disgusing themselves as your friend. Frenemies can be evil, clever and dastardely people, lulling you into a false sense of security and taking advantange of you. On the other hand, they can be fake, air-headed, bimbos who befriend you then ditch you whenever they feel the need. CAUTION: do not take a frenemie back, it it most likely they will ditch you again. To rid yourself of a frenemie, you need to BACK OUT ASAP
