When you have unfortunately left food in your fridge for extended periods of time and they start to resemble something more like science experiments rather than anything that's edible. The disease spreads, and before you know it, your fridge is filled with rotting food in various states of decomposition.
"I wouldn't eat anything coming out of my fridge at the moment, it's got fridge cancer."
