What is Friesland?

Province in the Northern part of The Netherlands. Known for its many polders, rivers, lakes... Lots of water there. Also a province where many farmers still ware "klompen" (= wooden shoes).
They speak "Fryske" (= Friesch) in Friesland.
They also speak Dutch in Friesland.
