1. Chess. an opening in which a player seeks to obtain some advantage by sacrificing a pawn or piece.
2. any maneuver by which one seeks to gain an advantage.
FULL GAMBIT:
1.To 'Run a full gambit' on another person is to attack in a barbarous mannor. It means that your going to launch a complete onslaught of tactical attacks ment to wear down your opponent & win at all cost. Even if it means sacrificing your friends and losing the respect of all those around you.
1. "Listen, you can sit over there & make comments & run your mouth all you want, but don't get it twisted bitch. If we were to go outside & lock horns right now.... - I'd run a full gambit on your ass."
