A word commonly used by people working in Information Technology used to describe a piece of hardware or software which does not respond or function as it should.
It is also used to describe the passing on of problems and or responsibility from one department to another.
1. Windows Task Manager is not responding. It says furrnt.
2. The computer keeps crashing. It's furrnted.

3. Once I found that the problem was on their end, I furrnted it to their technicians.
