What is Galinda?

The original name of Glinda the Good, in Gregory Maguire's book " Wicked". She changes it to "Glinda" in the memory of Dr. Dillamond, who mispronounced her name as "Glinda".

This name is also used in the Broadway production of Wicked, based on the book. The role was originated by Kristin Chenoweth.

Galinda: ...think of celebrated heads of state or 'specially great communicators, did they have brains or knowledge? Don't make me laugh! They were popular!
