Galoof

What is Galoof?

1.

Galoof does NOT, I don't believe, come from 'goof,' but rather it is most likely a variation of "galoot".

"Galoot" is an old word used in Scotland that means a person with an ungainly, cumbersome, and clumsy personality

ouch! ...ya big galoof, watch where yer goin!

See galoof, galoot, clumsy, cumbersome, big, large

2.

A galoof is generally used as an adjective, to describe one who is abnormally large and clumsy.

It of course comes from the word Goof except some complete idiot mispelled it for some reason or another.

That young lad over there is such a galoof, oh look he just hit his head on a ceiling fan.

3.

A large He-Man Like kid who lives in Conneticut Milford and goes to Foran high and eats anything and everything.

Rob is a galoof
