What is Ganime?

Anime that is gay. For instance, anything that is comprised mostly of shouting, and at least 34% of the video is nothing but flashes of colored light. Mostly new anime targeting the young crowd, in an effort to further branding and sell plastic at a toy store.
Me: Dude, I watched this really cool anime last night!
Friend: Fag, anime is gay!
Me: Dude, it was old anime, not new ganime!
