The night before garbage day.
Excuse commonly used by some as a reason to go out drinking during week nights to celebrate the wonderful city workers who will come pick up your trash. I have often heard this to be Saint Randy.
The beauty is that you can go out drinking for others garbage day eve since city collections occur on different days.
Tom: You look terrible, have a rough night?
Bruce: Yeah, Garbage Day Eve was rough, I didn't even make it up to see Saint Randy this morning.
