Old pikey word originating in the south East of England. Means to display a crazed anger.
Don't smoke that in the house! My old man will go garraty!

Uncontrolled craziness.
This expression refers to Freddie Garrity, from 60's pop group Freddie and the Dreamers.
He was famous for a truly ridiculous dance that involved kicking up each foot sideways, whilst keeping his knees together. (Resembling a man desperately in need of a toilet).
I told her I'd spent the money on grass, and the missus went garrity at me.
