What is Garretta?

Maltese word for 'foreskin'. Also used to add colour to various insults involving the penis ( zobbin Maltese).

When somebody is really irritating:

'Dejjaqtli il garretta ta' ras zobbi' literally meaning: 'you're annoying the foreskin of my dickhead' - you are really irritating.

'Minjaf kemm ghandu butir taht il- garretta' - I wonder how much butter (smagma) he has under his foreskin. Implying a person who is hiding a lot of things from others and is not to be trusted.
