The Buckeyes (specifically in Football and Men's Basketball) are routinely humiliated by their counterparts from the University of Florida- the Gators. These blow outs are usually suffered by the Buckeyes, and witnessed by millions, on the grandest stage of team sports - championship games.

The depth of this futility has earned them a description beyond the usual Gator Bait, which is reserved for other teams the Florida Gators play.
